So Peyton's been bothering me to update my LJ but I felt like RL was too boring and sad and derpy to talk about that and I've already got Tumblr for fandom squee. Which mostly equates to writing inane strings of letters in the tags of gifsets that give me feels, but still. Isa posted this meme thingy today and I thought YES GOOD SHE'S GOING TO TELL ME WHAT TO TALK ABOUT. And thus an update was born.

Oh, also before I forget, Teen Wolf has eaten my mind.

I have no idea how many fics I've written this year, since sometimes I've counted two linked fics as chapters of a longer one and sometimes as two separate things. And I don't want to count the drabbles or the ones that suck too much. My writing folder is messy as fuck, as usual, and there's a bunch of things that I told myself I'd finish by the end of 2011 and look, it's 2012 and nothing's changed. Figures. I've also got one or three unfinished fic memes, but... yeah... my resolution this year is that I won't make any resolutions because they never work for me anyway. ONWARDS!

First of all, I blame this on fanficrants. There was this rant posted earlier today about someone taking a SGA fanfic and replacing the names and posting it as an Hawaii Five-0 fanfic, turning everyone OOC, and I wondered what would happen if I tried that. So, uhm, I took a couple of my shorter stuff and gave them a spin on the search-and-replace rollercoaster of life. I might also talk funny because I'm sleep deprived.
So, below the cut are 5 awesome new stories for Castle, Supernatural, Psych, Sherlock, Hawaii Five-0 that are actually old stories with the names replaced but sssh it's not plagiarism if I recycle my old stories! See, even if I don't have time to write because of exams, I can still produce new fic. They took about 5 minutes each because I actually went and fixed some small details that might have been too much of a dead giveaway. Like a patronus in a pretend!Supernatural fic. Trololol.

It helps that I've loved them from the get-go and I'd been praying for them to get together for about half the series. And Ed delivered an awesome proposal and they had epilogue babies and all was well with the world. ♥

Day 30 - Your favorite ship forever and ever and ever?

Merlin/Arthur. Three months isn't much to decide and I don't know if it'll be forever and ever because I don't see the future, but I do love those boys and given the extent to which they dragged me into the fandom I don't think I'm very likely to find another favourite ship any time soon. There isn't any other pairing I've written so much fic about, and soon there won't be any other pairing I've read so much fic about. There's just something about them. Ask me the same question next year and we'll see, but for now... I'm off writing more fic.
