Merlin (even though I only got into it last summer).

Inception. Fuck you, January 27th release date. I want my DVD nao.

Your favourite book read this year?
I didn't read many books this year, didn't I? I think I read Throne of Jade and Black Powder War last winter so they'd qualify. I really need to make this one of my goals for 2011. Read at least 30 new books or something.

Your favourite album or song to listen to this year?
Though. I can't keep the same favourite song for a week, let alone a whole year. Let me try. Twelve songs for twelve months, all of which I probably had on loop at some point. More or less in chronological order, starting with the J-pop obsession I had at the beginning of the year, through the Gaga obsession and to my recent Glee obsession. I obsess a lot, but not for a long time luckily.

How do you expect me to pick when this year I watched all the old seasons of Doctor Who, Merlin, Supernatural and Glee. Okay, Doctor Who. Doctor Who was awesome. No, I change my answer to Glee. FFFF I CAN'T CHOOSE.

Merlin. MERLIN FANDOM, WHY DID YOU EAT MY LIFE.

Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
Torchwood. Why do you love Gwen so much, Torchwood fandom? I can't read fic about Gwen, it's bad enough having her in the regular series. I'm totally biased, so what.

Your TV boyfriend of the year?
IDK, everyone on my flist said Bradley so far. I don't want to be a sheep, but then again I like Bradley. Either him or Misha. Oh lordy, the things I did for Misha this year.

Your TV girlfriend of the year?
GEORGIA MOFFETT.

Your biggest squee moment of the year?
The Baby It's Cold Outside video. Awwwwwwwwwwwwww. ♥

The most missed of your old fandoms?
A Song of Ice and Fire. I really should read the books again before the TV series start, but I can't seem to get back into it.

The Vampire Diaries, as soon as I catch up with S2.

January: No entries for January because I used to post fanfic here before moving to a community because it was easier and I only started making regular entries the next month. New journal is new.
February: Okaaay, so I did promise I was going to update every 3 days.
March: So. I failed my last exam and will probably fail the next one too, though this time it's not (all) my fault.
April: Much, much belated entry to note that I'm still alive.
May: Forgot to update this for a while.
June: Am still alive. Exam in two hours.
July: Real life sucks. So. Much.
August: I think there must be something wrong with me. I'm trying to fix my sleep.
September: HAI NEW FRIENDS FROM MEMES!
October: I'm officially going to ignore the 30 days meme until I'm done with my Merlin/Arthur fic for merlin_muses.
November: So, let's get the bad news over first. And by bad news I mean the damn geometry exam.
December: Sooo... after the emotional rollercoaster that was last week, this one was almost bland by comparison.

Wow, this makes my year seem so sucky. Which it... kind of was, TBH. Though note that the last line was about the last episode of Glee, not RL. Because Glee is srs bsns, yo!

I wrote no fics in these 3 months. See the previous meme and the depression that was RL.
June: To save a prince * Merlin * Arthur, Merlin Again, my only June fic. Also my first foray into the fandom.
July: The morning after * Merlin * Arthur/Merlin
No fic for August either. I was trying to write for merlin_muses.
September: The Adventure of the Shopping Detective * Sherlock * John, Sherlock
October: How To Woo Your Manservant * Merlin * Arthur/Merlin Technically I posted it in November but I wrote it in September/October. Also my favourite fic of 2010. This monster too me forever to finish, dammit.
November: Turn Back Time * Doctor Who * the Doctor
December: Worse than gay porn * Supernatural * Dean, Sam I wrote A LOT of stuff this month (thanks, meme and bingo) and I might just end up writing something awesome in the next 10 days (hopefully for one of the exchanges) but so far I really like this one.

Goals for 2011? Less drabbles, more srs/longish fic. Also write some original stuff.

No, he doesn't really say that, but it was the first thing that came to my sleep-addled brain when I saw the panel. Staying up until 3am to read all the last volumes that I never got around to reading is probably not the best decision I've ever made.

It's Doumeki's dead fish face. Srsly, that guy, he went straight to put the ring on his ring finger. OF HIS LEFT HAND. It had to be done.

Psssh. Doumeki has been Watanuki's wife for years. That dead fish face means, "jesus, finally, I thought I'd never get a ring." They are the epitome of an old married couple, what with the bickering and the cooking and the fetching groceries and the y'know, pretty much LIVING TOGETHER.

I wasn't really shipping them in the beginning but I read the last volumes last week and dammit CLAMP, in the time skip they totally started sleeping together. Obv Watanuki put a ring on it. Where else would he find a wife who does his shopping and saves his life and looks great in everything he wears?
