❧ The Great Pain-In-The-Ass Repainting is still in full swing, everything that needed to be taken down has been taken down and lots of dust has been moved around as a result. Now I'm sitting in my (rather empty) room staring at six gaping holes in the wall where some of my shelves used to be. One of the holes has several smaller gashes next to it, where my dad tried to fix a shelf that was leaning to one side. He never quite managed - one of the reasons I jumped at the suggestion to get a new bookshelf after the repainting is over. That'd be the third bookshelf in my room, and should hopefully solve my space problems for the next couple of years - that is to say, until I finish uni and move away. I have no clue what I'll do with my all books when that time comes.

❧ Side problem: this afternoon I'm going to watch Shrek 4 and then eat at McDonald's. Which means I'll have almost no time to finish the fic and picspam that I need to finish by tomorrow. I don't even especially want to watch that film since Shrek 3 was barely funny, but I'm kind of desperate since I haven't been to the cinema all summer. Curse you Inception, being delayed for months. The only pro is I get popcorns and McChicken out of this, and I love junk food once in a while.

❧ I played the newest Choice of Games arrival, Choice of Vampire - I've got mixed feelings about the game, it does a good job on the world-building but the characters feel rather flat. Also I think I missed many interesting subplots, but I'll need a second playthrough to see where other choices lead. The game ends rather abruptly too, with a "to be continued". I just wonder how they'll carry over all of the stats.
All in all, my favourite game of the bunch is still Choice of Broadsides. I managed to make it to Admiral on my second playthrough by following the simple strategy of "what would Will Lawrence do here?" and it worked like a charm. And I managed to pursue an illicit gay relationship with the French Gaul rival. What else could I ask for?
