Tomorrow's my birthday. And I'm going to celebrate by writing my thesis! Yaaay, go me. And then my family's taking me out to the Chinese restaurant to celebrate. I honestly don't expect anyone else in real life to remember, which is several levels of sad.
I've got this feeling that if I died nobody would show up at my funeral. Which is... IDK, even watching Glee brings me down today.
I'm just so depressed lately. The idea of getting my degree and then having to start again and be stuck in school for another two years so I can get another degree is just... urgh... why do I even bother?

*hug* I've been there before with the school thing, and I know how much it sucks - but even if it doesn't feel like it right now, if it's the path you're meant to be on it will be worth it. Until then, you've just got to find the little things that make it worthwhile. I also know that hearing assurances like that may not make you feel any better (I got incredibly sick of hearing it from people, but it is actually true).

I hope you do get some time away from thesis-writing to celebrate your birthday. And I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling depressed lately - I hope it improves soon. That's a sucky way to spend a birthday.

Yeah, I get where people are coming from when they say that, but sometimes I wish everyone would just let me wallow in my misery. Of course when that happens I feel sad because I'm ignored, but that's depression for you.

If I'm not working on my thesis, I'll feel guilty and won't be able to have fun. If I start writing my thesis, I'll feel sad that I have to work on my birthday and won't get much done. It's a lose-lose situation.

Thanks bb. ♥ It was... okay, I guess. I got a jumper and I overslept so I decided not to work on my thesis, and then we went out for Chinese. And I had Rabbit Heart stuck in my head all night.
