Lately it feels as if I hardly post here any more. There's a number of possible reasons, mostly tumblr-related. It's sooo much easier to reblog a dozen gifs instead of actually sitting down and typing coherent sentences. I don't even have much to say, there's nothing going on with my life. So I'll just... give you the condensed version, shall I?

♥ Earthquake in Japan. Let me skip on the obvious manifestations of sympathy. Of course I feel terrible thinking about all the people who died or lost their loved ones, of course I hope all the missing people are safe. That said, I'm atheist. Just because I'm not praying for them doesn't make me a heartless bitch and I wish people would stop implying that.

♥ Glee. My brother started watching it when me and my sister decided we needed to watch S1 again. He actually kind of liked episode 2. He's still playing another game while watching and only recognizes about half of the characters, but it's a start. Sue is his favourite character. So proud of him.


♥ Glee hiatus. Not happy about it in the least. I hope at least we get both Kurt and Blaine transferring back next ep, though I wouldn't put it past Ryan Murphy to taunt with some awful cliffhanger. Meanwhile I'm listening to the songs for 2x16 and I have Candles on repeat. Tears in my eyes. I missed Chris's voice so much.

♥ camelot_fics. Officially stepped down as a mod after R1. I think I've been the worst mod ever, with all my delays and disorganization, though I hope next round will go better. Nobody should allow me to try and run anything ever again.

♥ Game of Thrones starts on April 17, the sixth season of Doctor Who on April 23. April's going to be so much quality. Hopefully that'll give me the incentive that I need to finish my thesis that, by the way, I should be writing right now. I hate my thesis so fucking much.

Though I am Catholic-raised, for me praying does not necessitate a god or a religion. That's how I choose to understand it, at least.

I don't understand the concept, though. I get hoping that people will be safe. It might be the same thing, only worded differently, but still.

lol This sounds like me trying to get my brothers to watch something I like. I have to slowly let them wander in and out of the room while it's on, and I can't draw any attention to the fact that they pause to watch/occassionally sit down, because then they leave all embarassed. It's like dealing with an easily-startled deer lol.

I'm not pleased about the hiatus. I mean, I understand the reason - it's not like British television where usually everything's filmed before the series starts airing (and I do prefer this way, because it means they can change things based on audience response/further reflection), so it naturally comes with the drawback of waiting for them to finish the next episode. But on the other hand, my weekly Glee is what gets me through the monotony of my job, and 3 weeks without it is going to majorly suck.

Sorry to hear about camelot_fics. It's never fun having to step down from something like that, but if it's not something you're enjoying doing, it's probably for the best.

Definitely a success! I'll never need to hunt down gifs any more, I have so many. And pretty graphics! And unnecessary trivia! And spoilers! And...

Haha. Our stategies seem similar, I did the same when I wanted to get him to read Harry Potter. I left the book in the same room as him and walked away. Silly brothers.

I wouldn't mind the hiatus so much if they didn't end with a cliffhanger. I'd like some sort of resolution, like Kurt transferring back at McKinley before the end of the episode. The idea of waiting forever to find out what happens to him is... urgh. :|

Praying/sending well wishes/thinking about something always feels like the same thing to me. I don't understand people that get so caught up in the title of something and then condemn people who don't adhere to the rules they've set. One of the main reasons I hate organized religions.

I feel so out of the loop I didn't even know Glee was going on hiatus. Is it because of Idol? That sucks.

Tumblr told me about the hiatus. I assume it's because they haven't finished filming 2x17 yet (or are still wrapping up production). TV shows' schedules baffle me. :(

I'm atheist too, and I understand where you're coming from on 'praying'. I hold hope and positive thoughts for all involved, doesn't mean I'm less of a person for not praying.

IKR? It feels as if we barely got out of the winter hiatus. At least the other episodes until the finale will be back to back.

It makes me sad when there's a tragedy like this and some people have this holier-than-thou attitude towards others. :(
