My newest thread on fanficrants has more replies than anything I ever wrote. Also I pissed off more people today than during the debate about crucifixes. The subject? Comic sans.

LAYDEEZ, COME AND HUG ME! I'VE BEEN CALLED MEAN BY PEOPLE OVER THE INTERNET AND WON'T BE ABLE TO SLEEP TONIGHT!

Oh yeah, the original point of this post was that Chris and Darren are going to be on the cover of EW and I can't wait for scans, but in the meantime this is keeping me pretty amused.

IKR? I honestly didn't expect people to defend the use of comic sans. For large chunks of text. In electric blue.

I used to like comic sans when I was, like, 10. Now, eh, not so much. I've found Anime Ace or Hand of Sean and they are much nicer handwritten fonts for comics.

Oh! I thought that might have been what you were talking about. Ummm. Well, the first time, I was there at the right time, refreshing and refreshing, and it had been a few minutes and it still wasn't up, so I went to the bathroom, and when I came back it had been up and Arthur was taken and then I tried to get Will but someone beat me to it while I was writing my comment and I couldn't think of good characters and I had a RIDICULOUS panic attack over it because I'm a ridiculous individual. And I picked Balinor because I like him but didn't think about the fact that he's dead which I didn't know what to do with and could only interact with a couple of characters anyway. So it was a big stressful situation and people had so much fun with it that I had to take the ot comm off my friends list so I couldn't see it because I'm a fragile little stress ball (and was already having a ~low~ issue and was overwhelmed with classes and stuff). SO IDK I'M NOT TOO EAGER ABOUT IT RN. And people are getting to claim all their old characters which means the same good characters I might have fun playing willllll once again be taken. WHICH SUCKS BECAUSE ONE OF MY BIGGEST HOBBIES HAS BEEN ROLEPLAYING FOR THE LAST FIVE YEARS OF MY LIFE. MOSTLY ROLEPLAYING ON LIVEJOURNAL. Sooo I really do not know if I will be participating. But this comment needs to be done like yesterday, I am so rambly.

Aw! I thought you couldn't RP Balinor last time because of IDK why really and was hoping he'd be around this time. But but but since we have S3 now too, maybe you could claim someone else like Percy or Elyan? I don't think they were around last time so they can't be reserved. And they're knights so you'd have plenty of interaction with everyone else since everyone is friends with the knights and the knights are friends with everyone. And mostly everyone is a knight anyway. Actually I don't even know if Arthur has been re-claimed already so you might luck out in that regard. Or you could be my daddy! That came out wrong, didn't it? EITHER WAY I'M NOT GIVING UP ON YOU YET, MADAM! I mean obv it's your call but I wanted to let you know that there are possibilities. XD

ETA: Comics Sans is an inside joke for all my batch mates in my high school because we used to have a history teacher who used that font in all her powerpoint presentations. We were in Freshmen. And like, I was literally ready to vomit all over that font. I swear, I cringe when I see people still use it. WORST. FONT. EVER. Idc if I'm shallow. At least I have good aesthetic taste.

Haha same here bb. A couple of people told me I'm a pretentious snob for hating on a font. If the alternative is gouging out my eyes over the comic sans, I think I can live with it. Why do people even use that thing for school/work stuff is beyond me.

Girl, if hating on Comics Sans makes you a pretentious snob, wear it like a gold star badge. It only speaks volume of your sanity and awesomeness. It should be banned from professional establishments, unless deemed highly appropriate. Like torture. Idk.
