Sooo... after the emotional rollercoaster that was last week, this one was almost bland by comparison. I was happy to see Emma again though. The only gripe I have with her storyline is that it's as if everything she does with/for the Glee club is actually because she wants to get close to Schue. What if she wanted to go to Sectionals to see the kids perform, hmm?
Anyway, yes... I approve of her marriage, Schue's reaction when she told him she'd got married was... ew. It took him a whole minute to say in a very much not convincing voice that he was happy? Why is he so lame this season?

Not much to say about the other failboat drama, I... wasn't really caring very much. I liked Finn and Rachel last season before they actually got together, then they did get together and every couple in Glee is doomed to fail. So there. Maybe now I'll go back to liking them again.

Now, about Kurt. FFFF KURT HURRY UP AND GET BACK WITH ND. That jacket totally suits him, but who cares. I miss his... individuality, as he puts it. And from all interviews and trailers and spoilers floating around it's as if they don't know when Kurt will go back to McKinley which is beyond depressing. It makes sense since there's going to be the stupid Christmas break and everything, but still. They need him. The viewers need him. If it's between an epic gay romance and going back with ND, it's not really a choice.
He can have his epic gay romance after he's back.

I don't know what the general consensus for this episode is, but I thought it was okay. I liked Valerie and Don't Cry For Me Argentina. Really, really liked them.
And yeah, of course Dalton Academy turned out not to be the superspecialawesome, sparkly, happy dreamland that most fans seemed to think it would be. And Blaine didn't proceed to snog the hell out of Kurt the second after he enrolled. And Wes and David turned out not to be obsessed with getting Blaine and Kurt together.
Unrealistic expectations have been squashed. Duh, colour me surprised. Where would the plot go without any drama?
And really, fandom, especially Kurt/Blaine fandom, do you honestly think you have any rights to complain?

I couldn't stop grinning like a loon every time Blaine stared at Kurt with adoring eyes. They're not even trying to be subtle about it. It's all very endearing. Also ffff Pavarotti. I want a canary now. And it's going to be a metaphor for love and happiness or whatever it is that the canary is a metaphor for. I missed Sue in this ep.
Now I'll try to get on with my life trying not to think that there's STILL A WEEK BEFORE WE GET THE "BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE" SCENE FFFF HOW AM I GOING TO LIVE LIKE THIS I REALLY REALLY HOPE SOME CLIPS GET LEAKED I NEED THEM LIKE YESTERDAY.

ETA: By the way, I totally called the tie ages ago.
