Day 07 - The most heartbreaking scene?

This meme is awesome - it makes me post every day and distracts me from things like having to post about RL, which is as crappy as you'd expect in the week before an exam. Crapcrapcrap.
Anyway, fandom is like always a life saver. Looks like I finished my Sherlock entry just in time for the bonus challenge which is... fanmixes. Oh noes. Good thing I'm in a fanmixing mood anyway, but now I have to finish my Robot Unicorn Attack mix first, because I might get confused and Sherlock doesn't go well with sparkly unicorns.
Day 07 - The most heartbreaking scene?
The one that always gets to me is Stella's death in Gundam SEED Destiny. It's all Kira's fault. It's always Kira's fault. I really don't get how he can have so many fans, because the guy is a moron. For all that he's supposed to be a pacifist, he just went and attacked Stella, who wasn't able to control herself because her memories and emotions had been tampered with. And Shinn was trying to get through to her, he'd almost made her stop when Kira went and attacked her. If I didn't hate Kira already, killing Stella like that would have done it.
Then there's this scene in which Shinn retrieves Stella's body from her mecha and carries her to a lake and drops her body in the water. With Stella's image song playing in the background, which is beautiful and sad and even worse after you realize what the lyrics are saying.
Freya's funeral in Merlin reminded me a lot of this, minus the fire of course.
(I hope this is the right video, I have problems getting YouTube to load today.)
Another sad scene is Nagisa's death during childbirth in CLANNAD, but strange things happen and Tomoya manages to change the past and make it so that she didn't die (it's all a bit weird) so it doesn't really make me want to cry every time I think back on it.
And Kagura's death in Inu Yasha. Kagura was my favourite character, by the way, she started off as Naraku's henchman but was the personification of the wind and wanted to be free. In the end she rebels and gets herself stabbed by Naraku's poisoned claws. She flees to some remote valley but she's hurt too badly. Sesshomaru shows up and says he followed the scent of Naraku's poison. Kagura asks if he's disappointed he didn't find Naraku, and Sesshomaru replies that he knew it was her which is a lot considering that he's a jerkass and never shown to care for anyone. And Kagura is happy that she got to see him one more time. After she dies, Inu Yasha asks him if she'd been in pain and Sesshomaru says that she was smiling.

This scene is more or less the whole reason I ship those two, since they've never shown any emotion or any particular attachment to one another. But I find their relationship better than the other Takahashi couples who fall in love at first sight and spend 50 volumes angsting and acting stupid.
Bonus points for Jo's death in S5 of Supernatural, too, that almost had me in tears a couple of nights ago. It's just... argh. I liked Jo. I liked Dean/Jo, non-existent as it was.
