Writing woes

❧ For the first time in forever, I'm working on multiple fics at the same time. The material proof are the three drafts I have lying around my desk (it's good to have a desk again, btw). On the plus side, I almost feel like a writer. On the minus side, I don't because none of them is in any way close to finished.

❧ Both of my attempts at writing for the first challenge at thegameison_sh have so far been thwarted by Sherlock, who went off on a tangent with complete disregard for the word count. Typical of the man. I'm left wondering if it wouldn't be better to write about someone sane, like Lestrade, or John, or even Moriarty.

I think I'm good so far, I just need to cross out most of Sherlock's babble. Or switch to John's POV. I like writing about John.

I usually write wherever, but it's easier to have a place around which all of my notes gather. Until they pile too high and I'm forced to move somewhere else.

All my books Are the same though, it's hard to tell which is which!

I'm playing! Except I have to stay up all night waiting for it! I think it starts at 5 am my time! So I'm watching doctor who.

Whoo! Party thread? And wow, that sucks XD; I don't think I'd be able to stay up, luckily it's just at 9PM for me.

I was in half a mind to watch Doctor Who after I'm done with SPN, is it as good as the fandom wants me to believe?

It is good! David tennant is the best doctor! I haven't seen the new dude. I'm watching g a sword fight, nowhere near as good as a Merlin fight! Nearly done with series 4 of spn?

Mmh lollies! Dinner is being late and I'm starving.

Tennant is half the reasons I want to watch it! The other half are the guest stars, lol XD Nothing compares to Merlin swordfights and Bradley swirling his sword around. Almost, I'd be watching 4x15 now but instead I'm writing about Sherlock being stupid.

I can't remember 4.15 but I do remember the next one. Very good. I love 4.18! What do you think of castiel?

I don't know the plot of 4x15 (I don't watch previews) but I know Castiel is in it! I love him. I thought the show was awesome already but before S4 I didn't realize that it sorely lacked a grumpy angel in a trench coat.

I never felt the need to ship anyone on the show before but ffff Castiel! I wonder if I can marathon 4 episodes after bingo is over.

Same here. I think that's why there were so many wincest shippers : they needed someone to ship. But our pretty little Cas came along!

Yes! I don't mind Winchest myself, I read it occasionally but I don't feel the need to search for fics or anything. But Castiel is just... ugh. ♥

There are no words to describe the awesomeness that is Castiel. I never read Wincest, though that's probably because I only got into the fandom while I was watching series 4. The first episode I ever saw was the series 2 finale. I was confused!

Oh I have always wanted to go there! All the ancient looking stuff! I did ancient history at school -- it was my favourite subject! I'm in Australia. It wasn't a great convention, poorly organised, but still, the boys were there!

I thought it was a turtle too! But I think it's some creepy dudes face. A relic or something. A customer at my work thought I was a devil worshipper when they saw it, I had to explain that it was from tv!

Haha I know the feeling, I have a necklace with a pentagram and when I bought it my mum thought I was into satanism. She's got it the wrong way around.

I failed so hard at science. I did biology, 'cause it was the easiest one, but all my teachers hated their lives and couldn't be bothered to teach properly. *shrugs*
