Herping derping and the big bang

I'm still the worst LJ friend ever. Urgh. Sorry about that! I'll try to comment more on your entries from now on, it's just... uhm... I'm me. And I forget things. Also I haven't forgotten about the tropes meme, but the big bang takes priority.
Weeell.
Actually I dropped one big bang. And then I decided to completely change the plot, setting and theme of the other. Eleven days before the first draft is due, because I'm borderline insane. But if it's a pain to write it, I can't imagine people being happy to read it. I'd rather write a lighter crossover, even if I have no plot and I'm flying by the seat of my pants. I did write 1k in just a few hours, so there's that. Maybe I'll salvage the SPN!S7 plot at some point, without deadlines and other crap.
Bailed on my parents who wanted help moving my mum's collection of tiles. I should explain about it. They're decorative tiles from all around the world. I don't know how it started, but she's been collecting them for as far as I remember, maybe from before I was born. My dad or her colleagues used to bring one back when they went away for work, or she'd buy one while on holiday, or I'd make one for Mother's Day. She's got 150 of them. Now that we're moving she's in the process of taking them all down, hanging them in the new house and then taking down again so when the walls are painted the nails will be painted white too and they'll be prettier. Or something. While I think the tiles are pretty, I don't want to listen while my mum changes her mind thrice about where to put every one of them.
Plus, I'm lazy. It rained this morning and it was so nice to finally wear a t-shirt and sweatpants again. Not that in summer I walk around naked, but I like t-shirts better than tanktops. Plus, socksss. I like socks.
I got my 2012 ASOIAF calendar in the mail. So far it's my least favourite of the three that I have... I don't particularly like the style of this artist, and the characters are almost the same as the ones from the 2009 calendar. I get that the Starks are considered main characters and all, but I'd love a pic of Brienne next year, or even Cersei.
2009 vs 2011 comparison:

Same elements. Drastically worse art for the new one. If I wasn't a completionist, I might regret preordering it. Buuut now I want a new 2012 calendar that I actually like.
...There was something else I wanted to say, but IDK.
