So before I started drooling on that picture I was quite happy about life already. Even though my legs hurt so much and I forgot my umbrella so of course it rained, but only in the ten minutes while I was walking to the bus stop.

The day started very very crappy, I stayed up until a ridiculously late hour last night trying to cram as many equations as I could into my head, then I decided that I was in no way ready for my exam and went to sleep anyway. I got maybe 4 or 5 hours of sleep, which is kind of stupid since I could have caught the train one hour later, but then again I wasn't thinking straight. So I got there earlier, got a coffee from the surprisingly good coffee machines in the mathematics building and went to tell my professor that I was in no way ready for his exam. He was very nice about it and... rescheduled it for the 26th! I seriously wanted to hug him for this. And kick myself for stressing so much over this when I just needed to talk to him. Well, it would have helped if he'd been in his office last week, or remembered to reply to my first email. But it means that I don't have to stress any more since ten days is more than enough time. It's just such a huge relief.

And I saw most of the people in my year since some of us who are already done with exams were discussing their thesis today. Seems like there's good news about another exam in December, nothing definite yet and I don't want to start thinking about two or three exams all at the same time, but things are looking good.
The only "meh" thing is that my thesis advisor gave me a couple of books to read. They're about 300 pages each and the worst part is that they're hardback and each of them weighs like a small elephant. I had to lug them back home, along with everything else I already had in my bag, and that's why my legs are hurting so fucking much. That and I went back and forth from the station to uni on feet because at first I thought it was a nice day and I wasn't in a hurry, and then I remembered I was out of bus tickets and there is no way to buy a ticket in any place near the uni, because we're just outside of town in the middle of nowhere.

No, seriously. This is what I see on a daily basis:

Pretty, isn't it? The maths building is yellow instead of blue. Yellow. I shit you not.

I don't have photos of it because there aren't any on the interwebz. I think it's too fugly to take a photo of.

The law/economy/useless humanity buildings are in the city centre and some of their classrooms date back hundreds of years.

I'm by no way bitter about this. But I do like impromptu picspams.

Of course, photos of Arthur and his knights are far more interesting than my day.
