First things first. Today is, among other things, the day Merlin S3 finally kicks off! Yay!
But Ren is a bit behind in re-watching S2 with the sister, because yesterday they spent the evening playing Drawn 2 (which was totally worth it but took several hours to complete).
Anyway, I decided not to start on S3 as soon as it airs so I can watch this series for the first time with my sister and everything. As such, flist, I hope you won't spoil me too much.Not that I think you will. But I'm a natural spoilerophobe.

Day 03 - A pairing that needs to happen now?
First let's see what I discarded. For starters there are Roy/Riza and Kurogane/Fai, where I just couldn't stand the UST and wished they'd just shut up and kiss already. Their respective canons have ended already without anything happening, but it's heavily implied that both couples got together. So I don't know if they'd count for this question. Then another duo who was dancing around for some 50 volumes, Takagi and Sato from Detective Conan, finally kissed in the last volume I read. So where does this leave me?
I'm trying hard not to answer with my favourite pairing every time, because many of these questions are just too similar. I mean, clearly I'd like to see any pairing I ship happen. This is obviously not gonna happen, since I ship lots of crazy pairings, but it's hard to pick even one of those who might just might become true in the foreseeable future. And anyway in most cases I'm just happy to have no pairing in canon so the fandom can just go crazy and give me a dozen different takes on them, while if they hook up there's more established relationship fics, which I like less.
I think I'll go with Sandor/Sansa from the ASOIAF series. Which is really, really epic fantasy, and HBO is adapting it into a miniseries that will air next year. Sooo this might be spoilery if you're planning to watch it, and it gets cut.
