Writing woes

❧ For the first time in forever, I'm working on multiple fics at the same time. The material proof are the three drafts I have lying around my desk (it's good to have a desk again, btw). On the plus side, I almost feel like a writer. On the minus side, I don't because none of them is in any way close to finished.

❧ Both of my attempts at writing for the first challenge at thegameison_sh have so far been thwarted by Sherlock, who went off on a tangent with complete disregard for the word count. Typical of the man. I'm left wondering if it wouldn't be better to write about someone sane, like Lestrade, or John, or even Moriarty.

Oh I have always wanted to go there! All the ancient looking stuff! I did ancient history at school -- it was my favourite subject! I'm in Australia. It wasn't a great convention, poorly organised, but still, the boys were there!

I thought it was a turtle too! But I think it's some creepy dudes face. A relic or something. A customer at my work thought I was a devil worshipper when they saw it, I had to explain that it was from tv!

I suppose that's true, but I was never much one for ancient stuff XD I'm more for science myself, which sadly we lack.

Haha I know the feeling, I have a necklace with a pentagram and when I bought it my mum thought I was into satanism. She's got it the wrong way around.

I failed so hard at science. I did biology, 'cause it was the easiest one, but all my teachers hated their lives and couldn't be bothered to teach properly. *shrugs*

I liked chemistry and astronomy, but I hated anatomy. Uggh the human body is gross inside. They were all mandatory though :(

Ruby is okay. I don't hate her like I hated Bela, lol.
Looks-wise I liked S3 Ruby better, but I like Genevieve Cortese too. And as a character I like how she's still part human and how she bickers with Dean. As long as he doesn't kill her.

We were learning all about babies and stuff, so we had to watch a woman giving birth. My teacher decided to rewind it so that the baby went back in.

S3 Ruby was way better. I don't like Genevieve at all. No idea why!

It's strange to see actors change for the same character. It'd be tragic if it happened to Castiel. (Not that I think it'd happen, I read spoilers, but still.)

I hate when actors change! Luckily it doesn't happen too much. I think if they replaced Castiel, I'd cry. And cry. And Dean would cry, because someone took away his special angel.

I'M ON 2/10 AS WELL! Didn't get anything in the 2nd post. :(

Before Ruby I didn't care much, I hope it doesn't happen too often in the later series. Nooo, this settles it! You can't make Dean cry, because when Dean cries shit happens. Bad shit. So there, Castiel and Dean will live happily ever after. Or something.

Dean does look very pretty when he cries though... But no! He and Castiel need a happy ending. Which for Dean is damn near impossible but I'm sure he can figure it out

He does, but then again he looks pretty while he does anything. And sad!Dean makes me sad too so a happy ending is mandatory. I'm sure Castiel can manage on teeensy little miracle.

Georgia is so pretty it's ridiculous. It's set, I need to watch Doctor Who. How many episodes are there again?

I never saw the old timey doctor who, so i dunno if those are worth watching, but the newer version is up to series 5, 13 episodes in each. Series 1 is Christopher Eccelston, Series 2-4 are David Tennant [OMG I HEART HIM SO MUCH] and series 5 is Matt Smith [Never seen it, but my bff says its good]

Pretty much each series has a different companion, except Rose had series 1 and 2. Donna is my favourite, she's in series 4!

I wasn't really planning on watching 50 years worth of British series, just the newest ones. 13 eps is pretty short, I can marathon them!

Oh and I meant to ask you: do you have any non-spoilery recs for SPN fanfic? I have nothing much to do while I wait for bingo XD

Doctor Who Marathon! Oooh, if we're both online, we can watch together!

Hmm... not sure. there's deancastiel and you should be able to search through tags and stuff. But they update pretty frequently, so the non-spoilery ones will be wayyyy back. That's the only SPN place I've been sorry!

There's also spnstoryfinders with pretty big tag lists as well!

Yeah, at least until I get the DVDs, and I decided that I must get Merlin first anyway xD;
Darn, this year I got into a bunch of new series.

new series are fun! I love buying dvds more than downloading. I just like to see my overflowing dvd shelf. I did download SPN from series 4 through to the end every saturday after work!

Usually I don't care much for DVDs because I only watch shows once, but I'm making an exception this time! I could watch Merlin's cheekbones over and over.

I'm all focused on Merlin/Arthur right now. It was Dean/Castiel before that. There's this one D/C fic I'm still checking on-- it's long and they somehow get a baby [not mpreg] and it's just awesome. But Merlin/Arthur must have just finished their big bang or something, so I'm overloaded with fic! And I love it.

Yeah paperlegends just finished, though I'm waiting until I'm done with some writing myself before getting started on them ♥
I can't say which prompt it is because it's secret until the reveal, but it's M/A from Arthur's POV and very much cracky XD

Mpreg absolutely squicks me out but I love fics in which Dean and Castiel have kids so... uhm whatever, I can accept that the kids just popped out of thin air or something XD
