Happy new year, f-list! I assume everyone's following the Gregorian calendar here, though you never know. My high school history and philosophy teacher used to be a fan of the French Revolution's calendar. That man is awesome. Anyway that's neither here nor there.

I JUST WANTED TO INFORM YOU ALL THAT I WROTE FIC IN WHICH ARTHUR AND MERLIN HAVE A KID NAMED EDITH.
There would sparkly text here but I can't be arsed to find the code because I spent the last forever putting up voting for camelot_fics. Actually it'd be helpful if you voted too, you can vote even if you're not a member. Though, well, the entries are all kind of depressing. My fault for choosing a depressing theme, I suppose.

OH LOL IS THERE A PRIZE FOR FIRST COMMENTERS THAT I WASN'T AWARE OF?

Also I probably should have read both memes before posting since I've already done the second one ages ago. I r dumb. BUT HERE'S THE MEME, VERSION ARTHUR/MERLIN.

1. When or if I started shipping them: a couple of days before starting to watch the show. Yeah, you read that right. I, uh, found this author whose style I liked, but she'd written only a couple of stories for my fandom. But she'd also written several A/M stories so I read one just to see how it was and kind of fell in love with the boys there and then.
2. What I think their challenge is: getting to treat each other as an equal instead of prince/manservant-with-seekrit-magic-powers.
3. What makes me happy about them: THEIR CUTENESS. OH GOD WHERE CAN I EVEN START TO DESCRIBE THE CUTENESS THAT IS A/M. AND THE BANTER. BRB DEAD OF LOVE.
4. What makes me sad about them: that Merlin still doesn't trust Arthur enough to tell him about his magic.
5. What moment I wish had never happened: urgh, all of the abuse in S3. Especially the scene where Arthur threw a goblet or something at Merlin's head. Was that supposed to be funny? :/
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: with Gwaine. Because everything is better with Gwaine.
7. My happily ever after for them: just like the happily ever after everyone imagines for the series... Arthur becomes king, Merlin is his sorcerer/advisor, Arthur marries Gwen but everyone knows he and Merlin are together. I assure you that's what will happen, I have a horde of crazy fangirls agreeing with me on this.
